Description

Find a mix of open and treed sites suitable for tents and RVs in a scenic parkland environment. There are also a few walk-in tenting sites nestled in the forest. This is a great family-friendly park with wonderful views of the unique Battle River badlands. Explore the trails and watch for wildlife and birds, or take your canoe or kayak for a lazy afternoon paddle. Offers protected scenery and trails in the valleys of the Battle River and Big Knife Creek, with recreational access to the water. Also has a day use area (offering toilets, drinking water and walking tracks) that is open year-round. The campground is open only from May 15 through October 14, and is first-come first-served. Firewood is not available onsite. Sewage disposal is provided onsite. Potable water is not available after from mid-September until the campground closes. Camping fees are reduced during this period.
