3.5 from 2 users

This pretty campground is found in Bow Valley Provincial Park, about 5 km east of Canmore on Hwy. The majority of the campsites are serviced with power. All powered sites at 30 amp. The campground is next to the Bow River, offering pleasant views. There are many activities available in this area, including hiking, biking, fishing, and paddling. Firewood available for purchase from campground manager/hosts. Water is available from a hand pump and a water tap near the tenting area at this site. Although Alberta Parks strives to maintain water quality, it is recommended that you bring your own drinking water.

Very expensive and loud camping directly at the highway.

Convenient place just outside canmore. Being close to the highway is not really a problem, noise is ok. However no water and no shower for the season (and prices are unchanged), keep that in mind. Furthermore, 7 spots are for tents only ($26), all the other are powered whether you want to use that power or not ($33).
