Nice place, some secluded sites, some pull throughs. Small creek nearby.

First-come first-serve campground. Problem: To keep your site you have to occupy it by a tent or RV or trailer, so if you are with an RV, you can't leave for day trips. Locals know that and occupy their site by a cheap 'tent-dummy'.

Gooseberry is no longer first come first served. It's now by reservation only. It's a great little campground and close to Bragg Creek. Some sites close to the highway are a little noisy from vehicles crossing the Texas gate. But the ones closer to the river have no highway noise. There isn't any water or sewage dump on the grounds but there is just across the highway.
