Description
Unofficial campsite at the end of a dead end gravel road. Amazing quiet view point on a windy high cliff.
There are no facilities, campers must be self-sufficient. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
There are no toilet facilities at this site. If you do not have your own toilet, bury human waste at least 100m from tracks and water bodies. Bury toilet paper or bag and dispose of in a bin once you leave the site.
5min away from Echo Dale Regional Park (7am-11pm) that provides swimming pool, showers, toilets, fire pits and boat launch.

Entrance is on a gravel road. Close to someone's property. Stayed further from the edge of the cliff because the road leading up to it wasn't perfectly safe to drive on. Really windy up there, great view of the Saskatchewan River. 10/10 would stay here again. Sept. 21st, 2020.
The Feather Heads
On a gravel road. Kind of close to someone's property, so we were a little worried but everything was fine! There was another van there when we got there. Excellent view from cliff! We were in a tent. Wind was super harsh, had to hammer in our stakes to the hard ground but it worked fine! No shelter, we put our car right beside our tent for a little shade in the morning. Overall can recommend for a free spot close to medicine hat. 15 minute drive from super nice echo dale park
