Nice cabin in which a wooden stove is found to warm yourself on a cold evening. Four tent pads are provided as well as food storage boxes and a grey water waste bin. The pit toilets are used for composting, nice touch. Lots of squirrels and a few deers run around sometimes. Definitly worth a visit! Make sure you rent your canoe cheap or bring one!

Backcountry permit required. Only accessible by canoe or kayak, its only 3.5 pedal down malinge lake which is easily done in 1.5 hours. Its on the right side of the lake on a small island, if you know this, you won't miss it (we ended up 3 km further up the lake) It's one of the best maintained backcountry campings I've seen so far... see next post
