Description
The Lake Louise Campground is located 1 km from the village of Lake Louise, 4 kms from the lake itself, and lies 60 kms northwest of the Town of Banff.
The campground is open year round and features 189 sites. All sites have electricity, some might have water and sewer. Showers and washrooms have hot and cold running water and flush toilets. A sani-dump is also available.
The site can accommodate most sizes of motorhomes and trailers (under 75 ft / 22 m). No tent trailers or tents. Only completed hard-sided camping units can stay at this site.
All soft-sided camping units must stay within an enclosed electric fence in the Lake Louise Tent campground due to seasonal bear activity. Soft-sided refers to all tents and any vans, campers or trailers that have soft-sided pop-outs.
Generator use is only permitted between the hours of 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. daily, in order to provide campers with a quiet and enjoyable experience.
Pets must be on a leash at all times in Banff National Park

FYI....This campground does not have first come first serve sites as we were told.

I can only agree with the previous review by AnneSo. We really disliked the dump station. There are four dump spots of which one was closed. It smelled bad since there were no lids on the sewage holes. The outermost dump spot, which we used, had no knob on the non-portable water valve, so we couldn't use it to flush (had to use a bucket and another tab). Lastly there were no hoses on the non-portable water tabs and I didn't want go connect my hose which I use for portable water on the tab that everyone touches while dumping sewage.
