Very nice and private spots for RVs. Beautiful walks along the lake. For camping with a tent even better. Highly recommended! But it was full when we arrived, just got lucky that someone cancelled, so make sure to reserve (even in May)!

Pros: Good sized and Private Sites Very scenic - close to beautiful lake with mountain views Nice Staff Great Washrooms (clean and heated) Some deer and elk in the area which is cool Free Firewood which is a nice touch Cons: No real cons - small bit pricey but seems standard for Banff / Jasper 1 or 2 Van / RV sites are on the road, not a major problem but can take you out of your surroundings a little Nice overall vibes to this campground. Good mix of sites for all types of campers. Very scenic Would recommend over the likes of Tunnel Mountain *Opens Mid-May *Probably need a reservation in summer

Best campsite we've seen. Beautiful spots, especially 1-13, with lovely small hike. Like everywhere, you can hear the train, but not to loud. Little to no road noise. Showers are a bit outdated though.
