A nature reserve that is home to floodplain cottonwoods, bluebirds and prairie rattlesnakes. Staying on the gravel trail helps avoid the snakes. Much quieter than the more popular river valley parks in the city. Often more wildlife that than people. There is shade below but not on the slopes.
