Description
Golden Ranches includes a mixture of mature aspen forest and open grassland that provide habitat for wildlife including white-tailed deer, moose, porcupine, grouse, waterfowl such as bufflehead and a variety of small mammals and songbirds. Rustic trails. Very primitive, there are no facilities. Hunting is permitted - see website for restrictions. No OHVs, bikes or horses. Dogs allowed, but must be kept on a leash from April 1 until July 15.
Campfires are not permitted at any time due to the risk of wildfire, even if fire bans are not in place.
Smoking is also not allowed due to wildfire risk.
