Of course they climb on you, if you feed them. As long as they are not to fat for that already. Don't be so stupid and feed the ground squirrels / chipmunks. Quite busy in the afternoon. Directly at the river.

Stayed for 2 nights, ranger came the second morning and ask if we slept there we said yes, don't know that it's not allowed, she didn't say anything and just asked us if was it nice hard to say, if somebody checks that area, we also saw a few camper vans on parking lot next to maligne lake
