Description

This free day use area offers nice scenery, wildlife viewing and walking tracks. Hunting allowed in season. Be sure to visit the website to view the map showing the limlts of this conservation site. This 960-acre site is located on the Milk River Ridge approximately 20 km southwest of Magrath. The site consists of native vegetation common to the Foothills Fescue Natural Subregion. Its rolling terrain provides habitat for at least 44 different species, including mule deer, white-tailed deer, sharp-tailed grouse, raptors and a variety of small mammals and songbirds. Evidence of grizzly bear has also been documented at the site! Day use only. No open fires. Foot access only. No camping or overnight parking allowed.
