This national heritage site offers, for a fee, daily guided tours of the preserved Brazeau Collieries Mine Site, beginning with the May long weekend and continuing through August. Visits to the heritage museum (which includes artwork) is by donation. The museum also has a cafe and gift shop. It is a great place to learn about the coal mining history of the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains.
