We liked it a lot, one of our favourites in the rocky's. about 12,5km, we need 3,5h with a few breaks. Really nice view of the mountains around and nice lake.

There are some more hikes. I took a photo of the sign!When you get to Helen lake go a bit further up on the mountain and you get amazing views! I'd guess from Helen lake up on the mountain it's another 1,5 km but its definitely worth it! Did the 15km in 4,5 hours with a long break on the mountain. Lots of Marmots.

Very beautiful hike. The first half of the trail runs though the forest while you cross a few small streams. This is also the steepest part of the trail with most of the elevation. After that the vegetation becomes thinner, allowing a beautiful view on the mountains. We even encountered a marmot shortly before arriving at the lake. I can only recommend the hike!
