Description

Find out how the effects of strikes, war, untimely death, and other ill-fortune contributed to the collapse of this ambitious Canadian owned and operated mining venture. Interpretive panels, listening posts, and walking paths through the ruins create a window back in time to the early 1900s. Summer May 15, 2019 to September 2, 2019 Monday to Sunday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. The site is self-guided, with knowledgeable interpretive staff onsite from mid-May to Labour Day. Admission is by donation.

What a lovely spot clean washrooms (not locked of a night) site is open 10am-4pm daily (gate across entrance) great interactive history story telling. We stopped to make some lunch here very pleased we did, lots of grass, trees, a stream and shade. Putty the tables weren't in the shade

Nice and short interpretive walk around the historic buildings. Water spigout beside the litter container on parking lot. Not able to connect hose...
