Description
The name may not be sweet, but the views certainly are on the Sulphur Skyline Trail! You'll catch some of the most awe-inspiring panoramas that Jasper has to offer, but you'll definitely need to work for them. The 8km trail rises 700m in a thigh-trembling 4-6 hours round trip. But once you reach that summit and see the park spread before you and the mountains rising above you, it will be so worth it. Pro tip: head to the nearby Miette Hot Springs for a soak to relax those limbs after this muscle-pounding hike!
Park in the pool lot and walk up the steps toward the entrance, where there is a passenger drop-off loop. A wide paved path branches from the loop, leading uphill past the trailhead information kiosk. Bighorn sheep are present in the pool area all summer long. They are used to being around people. Feel free to observe and photograph the sheep, but don't feed them.
Caution: This area is well-known for afternoon thunderstorms. Start early, and stay below the treeline if the weather looks threatening.
No camping or overnight parking allowed.

Bring bug spray! Nice hike through the forest. Gets really steep on the last quarter but it's fine. Was quiet cold and windy up there even with the sun

Very good early season hike for when others are under snow.
