Right next to the highway so definitely road noise. The rest stop has drop toilets so that is nice. There is a sign that says 8hr limit but no one came by to check as we stayed 9hrs. Not my favourite spot on the island.

If you walk down the abandoned road near the tourist information board at the start of the rest area. Some beautiful camping with awesome views can be found if you look hard enough. Also stayed longer than 8 hours but was on a long weekend
