Description
Truly a natural wonderland, Bear Creek Provincial Park is situated in the Central Okanagan Basin on the west side of Okanagan Lake.
The park features lakeside camping, over 400 metres of sandy beaches and 5 km of spectacular, well-marked hiking trails. A picturesque canyon has been carved into the bedrock by Bear Creek tumbling onto a cottonwood-lined delta.
The park has one campground, though it is divided by Lambly (Bear) Creek. There are 143 vehicle accessible sites in the park, including 18 doubles. Bear Creek offers 21 reservable vehicle accessible campsites with electrical hookups. Sites 123-129, 131, 133, 136, 140, 142-143 offer 30 amp service and sites 130, 132, 134-135, 137, 139, and 142 are pull-thru, paved sites that offer 50 amp service and water. Each site has its own picnic table and fire ring. Cold water is available for cooking and drinking and taps are located throughout the campground; from well water. During the collecting season a sani-station/dump is available and a fee is charged for the service. There are hot showers in the washrooms.
This park is extremely busy during the summer season and reservations are required to camp here. For your convenience, during the summer season the park has a concession located at the gatehouse and managed by the park operator.
The park gate is open from June 13 Oct. 13.

Worse camping so far. No warm water, rude operators and lots of people around. No free dump station and very crowded. Walmart is better for a night

Stayed here one night on our way from Vancouver to Revelstoke. Awesome CG near the lake with a few electrical sites.

Beautiful campground and day use area. Many trees and a lot of shady spots. Unfortunately many people come with dogs (without leash) even if dogs are not permitted. Parc staff did not care about that. For a family with kids it's the ideal place - if all people would obey the rules...
