Our favourite campground on the Stewart Cassier. We stayed 2 nights mid September and it was just lovely to return after first visiting 5 years ago. Soo peaceful in the treed sites and just beautiful down on the lakeside ones.

Great campground, most sites on shore, some in the forest. Lots of mosquitoes though, but only few on water and sitting on the shore. Two little easy walks on North and South edges. Canoe hire is great, it's really nice to paddle around the islands, so quiet. You can stop on several stony beaches and have a swim in the crystal clear water. Even on this Canada day weekend there were plenty sites available and it was still not really noisy.

Lovely well maintained provincial campground with a number of lakefront campsites. Very popular when we were there. No power hookups or showers. Playground and day area by campground. Pit toilets and water available.
