Description
Located within Strathcona Provincial Park, Buttle Lake campground offers 85 vehicle accessible campsites set in a second-growth Douglas fir forest. Buttle Lake has a developed sandy beach; some sites are located right on the lakeshore. Campsite reservations are accepted and first-come, first-served sites are also available.
Open April 1 to October 31.
An adventure playground is located at the Buttle Lake campground. There are also pit toilets, drinking water hand pumps, steel campfire rings, and boat launch ramps. Good swimming is available in Buttle Lake. Waterskiing opportunities also exist on Buttle Lake.
Pets/domestic animals must be on a leash and under control at all times and are not allowed in the beach areas at Buttle Lake and Driftwood Bay.

Campground hidden in the forest, just by the sandy beach. Sites are quite big and sunny. Some of the them have view to the lake and mountains. Great stuff. They are helpfull and carying. Campground is clean and very well maintained. No showers but there's fresh drinking water ;)
