There is a small general store on hwy97 near entrance to Carp Lake road. Also fuel and convenience store at McLoed Reserve, approx km 5 on Carp Lake Road. This is a special lake worth the effort if you plan on staying a few days. Listed on BC Parks website.

35kms West of hwy 97. Road OK for all but big rigs. Drive slow as road is narrow with poor visibility in places. Carp Lake is a gem with several islands for tent camping + on-shore facilities for motorized campers & trailers. Gorgeous lake, clear water but WARNING: this lake can blow up very quickly. Small crafts beware winds from the South.
