Description
This site is enjoyed year round by many recreational enthusiats and the local community for swimming, camping, fishing and ice fishing. It is situated in close proximity to the Chubb Lake Bible camp.
An ideal location for the family to enjoy, this site is easily accessible by 2 wheel drive vehicles, receives regular site maintenance and has a gravelled boat launch.
A person must not create or cause a deliberate or unnecessary disturbance within an above listed Recreation Site at any time;A person camping within an above listed Recreation Site must camp in an established campsite, occupy only one campsite and not leave personal property within a campsite unless that person is camping within the Recreation Site; The total occupancy must not exceed 10 persons per campsite and no more than two motor vehicles allowed per campsite within an above listed Recreation Site; Motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles and personal watercrafts (i.e. seadoo's) are not allowed to be used or operated within an above listed Recreation Site; A person who receives an Order to Vacate from an official, a recreation officer or a peace officer must not enter, attempt to enter or camp within a Recreation Site for 72 hours. The above rules are in effect unless varied by a recreation officer.
This site is located south of Prince George. At ~9kms south of Hixon turn right (follow the Chubb Lake Bible camp sign). Take the next left (100m) and continue until you reach the the 'Y' in the road, keep to the right. At ~7km turn right and the site is within 1km.

Nice site. Road was in good condition. Site are a bit wet and muddy, not ideal for tents. Rogers and Virgin reception

Camping by Chubb Lake. 7 places with fire ring, some with table. Low Rogers receiption. Toilets available - please use it!!! Accessible via 7km good gravel road from Hwy #97.Quite area with beautiful lake ...but lots of mosquitoes

Couldn't access the site as one of the last road turnoffs had some largely flooded potholes so we turned around. Area is semi-residential so not sure about parking on the road overnight.
