Lake is supposed to be a very good fishing lake. Unfortunately we had no luck

We drove to Chute Lake with a 2WD. To get to the recreation site at Chute Lake you definitely need a 4WD. There is also a resort at Chute Lake for 25$ unpowered or 30$ powered. Sites aren't that nice.

Made the trip to Chute Lake Lodge/campground with a full size 4x4 truck and 24ft trailer. Road up was maintained gravel, steady uphill climb with plenty of corners. Camp area is too tight for trailers larger than 20ft. We were able to camp in the tent area on the lakeshore without hook ups. Lodge is great with restaurant and boats avail.
