Description
Camping is free. There are 6 sites with tables and toilets.
ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES (for all Kamloops Recreation Sites).
No reserving or holding of campsites, all sites are first come, first serve.
A roadside location, next to Fishtrap Creek, the recreation site and camping area is used as a staging site for horseback riders to access the Seven Sisters Recreation Trails.
Driving Directions: North of McLure on the west side of the North Thompson River, access is via Westsyde road from either Kamloops or Barriere.

Very narrow entrance, not suitable for big vehicles. Lots of mosquitoes. Very muddy, be careful!!

A short but a bit rough driveway. Two sites with picnic tables and fire pits. Cute campground with view on the lake in the first site. Could be wet when it's raining.
