Description
This park offers 34 vehicle accessible shaded/treed campsites in Kleanza Creek Campground. The campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis and campsite reservations are accepted. There are 2 double sites and 2 tent sites. The campsites can accommodate RVs. Parking is available for extra vehicles.
There is a gate and it is locked from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Pay phones are not available. The nearest store is approximately 15 km away in Terrace.
This park has pit toilets located in the campground. One hand pump is available in the park and can be found near the parking lot. Water is shut off during the off season.
Firewood can be purchased from the Park Facility Operator for a fee. Visitors may bring their own wood. Campfires are allowed in the campsites and day use area fire rings. To preserve vegetation and ground cover, please dont gather firewood from the area around your campsite or elsewhere in the park. Dead wood is an important habitat element for many plants and animals and it adds organic matter to the soil. You can conserve firewood and air quality by keeping your campfire small. Limited burning hours or campfire bans may be implemented and some parks may use communal fire rings. Be prepared to bring a portable stove for cooking.
Pets/domestic animals must be on a leash at all times and are not allowed in day-use, beach areas or park buildings.
The park gate is open from May Sept.
