Beautiful Campground in Wildlife. One of our favourite places.

Very nice campground that is directly near the lightning lake. The staff is super friendly but the washrooms were not so great. There are a lot of hiking trails directly at the campground, beginning with the tour around the lightning lake. Of course I need to mention the campground bear that the staff told us about and that we didn't need to worry about. It seems that there is a bear around but he is not aggressive and we shouldn't leave our food outside.

Lightning Lakes Campground Campsites are 100% reservable from mid-June to the end of September with Discover Camping. All Campers should check the reservation board on the information shelter for site availability. The fee is $35.00 per camping party (includes G.S.T.) Payment can be made at the gatehouse or to an attendant who will make rounds to collect the fee (cash only)
