Ordinary. $10 to dump after paying fees to camp!

The site and facilities are fine, but unfortunately we were made to feel very unwelcome! Having driven out RV all day to reach Nelson to meet family, we were practically turned away as apparently we didn't have a reservation, when we most definitely did! When I showed an email we were allowed to park overnight on the site, but without the hook up we'd booked. The guy doing the receiving really should be let go, as he's doing the site and the town a big disservice. He even asked if we'd care to go somewhere else! Had we not arranged to see our cousins in Nelson we certainly would have left. We loved the town and seeing our distant relatives, having travelled from the UK to catch up after 52 years. It's just one man with a clipboard that took the edge off our visit.

Nothing flash, surprisingly primative and not very well maintained campground considering it is in the middle of a large town. Showers are fixed warm temperature showers as found in most provincial parks. Overpriced for the facilities provided. Train horns at night are very loud.
