Very long and bumpy road. Not great for rv's. The site is really nice though!

Great spot, fits about 10 sites. Camping is literally on the lake front. Great fishing,swimming,canoeing etc. Road is a little hairy going in with big potholes and washed away sections. We did it in a AWD Van with road tires but had to go really SLOW. Took about 20mins from the turn off onto the dirt road. First section of road is good as it is council maintained until the last property then it turns to a bumpy ride. Once we got there it was a great few days. Lots of mosquitoes just on dark in summer.

With all the reviews, we expected worse. Yes, you cannot go fast, it took us more than 30 min for the unpaved road with our 21 ft RV. We got the last site after 20 pm because someone was leaving before. The lake and the site are beautiful. Unfortunately, there was a couple that was friendly but unreflected and unaware of their surroundings and environment. The played music the whole night. Even after some friendly reminders, that their music was too loud, after a while they turned it on again. They said they are celebrating birthday; must have been a birthnight. Around 4 am the music stopped finally. Next morning garbage everywhere. Could have been very nice.
