Sixe Mile Rd, British Columbia

Description

On the way to Sixe Mile Lake, on a very difficult gravel road, there's several pull ups for those who can't make it. Right after a big turnaround, a little path on the right brings to 2 very cosy & intimate pull ups with fire pits where you can hear the river. Pull ups are big enough for a long van (6m max) to park and reverse, but the path itself is not recommended for tall vans as it's full of really low trees. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.

We originally planned on going to another spot close to Sixe Mike Lake, the review was saying that the last 3km were very difficult but the whole road is! We were 11km away from the lake when we decided to not go further and reverse as soon as we could. After we found a big turnaround and by exploring a bit more, we discovered a little path right after it with fire pits and decided to stay the night there as we had nowhere else to go. It was cosy and far from everything, hidden from the main road. Good enough for the situation!
