This campsite was the first on our route which started in Vancouver. And one of the most beautiful on our three week tour. I would come back here anytime. The last kilometres were over an unpaved road. Watch out for the potholes!

All 3 camps are beautiful, road conditions in are rough. Its a shame some camping fees arent used for road maintenance.

Last kilometers are unpaved. But it's okay, just watch out for the potholes. We stayed at Lakeside campground (deer lake) so that's about 5KM driving over the unpaved road. We reserved site 38 and if you park your RV in the right angle you can have a beautiful view over the lake out of your RV (our RV is 24ft). They have pit toilets, no showers and a dump station on the road to the campground ($5).
