Loved this campground. Very dry. Large campsites. Very good drinking water. Sunny or shady spots depending what you require. Great renting sites with sand pads to put the tent on. Very quiet and peaceful. Spent a week and will come back !

Dry climate with trees topping out at about 30', trees are not dense, but there is plenty of space between the sites to make up for it. Host has provided a sort of outdoor shower at a few of the flush toilets. There are paved roads through the campsite and rocky sites. Tenters be prepared with sandbags or rocks, instead of stakes. Great stop for a day or two, but be warned the day use area is across the highway, and is high above the river. There is one bike accessible from the campground
