Keep going past the paved rest area. There are signs on the road that say active logging. Ignore them. You will get to a clearing about 400m down the road where people have obviously set up camp before. The site is flat, right by the water and even has a couple of fire pits. Beautiful and perfect for one night.

Good spot for a night, also for large vehicles. Beware of the wasp nest under the last picnic table.
