Great campground, very open and close to Highway but beautiful views on lake and mountains. Several walks from campground and boat launch. Firewood from caretaker, who comes several times a day, expensive $15

Tenters: We stayed here second week of June and got slammed with a sudden sleet and rain storm that blew our tent over. From sunny blue sky to ice pellets and rain and 80 km/h winds in less then 5 minutes. Due to gravel couldn't peg tent had to use large rocks to weigh tent down. Consider campgrounds farther north if weather is poor upon arrival.

Beautiful scenery, nice sites, clean, good operator. No shade, no shelter.
