Tenters: We stayed here second week of June and got slammed with a sudden sleet and rain storm that blew our tent over. From sunny blue sky to ice pellets and rain and 80 km/h winds in less then 5 minutes. Due to gravel couldn't peg tent had to use large rocks to weigh tent down. Consider campgrounds farther north if weather is poor upon arrival.

Beautifull scenery! Well maintained big RV Campingspots. Definitely worth staying a night. But if you camping with tents be carefull. Weather changes almost every hour and the Wind is really strong!

Small number of sites accessible to tents and RVs. Bathrooms and garbages. Fire pits in sites, firewood costs $8 a bundle for about 6 chopped pieces of wood. Water well but not water isn't potable. CAUTION to tenters: there is virtually no cover from the elements here. No trees and few low growing shrubs. Tarping is not possible. High winds possibl
