Operating Season April 1 - October 14.
Located in the Rocky Mountains, Golden Municipal Campground is situated along the majestic Kicking Horse River.
There are 72 Sites, 32 with power. All with fire pits (firewood is available for purchase at our Campground Store)
Registered RVs and Trailers get Free Sani-dump and Water Fill Up.
Free Wi Fi access, on site Coin Laundry, RV parts / Convenience Store New Accessible Showers and Bathroom
Please stop by the Campground Office for more information regarding Golden and area. Complimentary book exchange and DVD lending library is also available at the office.
Tank Traders Propane Tank Exchange on Site . Charcoal Park Grill near our Picnic Shelter.
Complimentary coffee is available in the mornings from 9 am to 11 am. (During Summer Season).

Closed in winter. I arrived to find 2 other campers stuck for where to stay as well.

Bit of a weird campsite, right in front of a secondary school and next to a (loud) train track. Shower and toilets are really clean and close to city center (walking distance). Just a bit pricey for what it is. If you want to sleep in center of Golden its just fine :)
