Large area with picnic tables, kayak rental, a not too cold lake and scenic mountains. Several trails start here or nearby. Oh, and there are a LOT or squirrels all over the place. They'll be begging but please don't feed them (they'd wake early from hibernation and die due to shortage of food)

In winter season you are allowed to use the parking as campsite (13$). No infrastructure but clean longdrops - so bring water and empty your tanks before you get here! Nice like with trout rising and perfect spot as a basecamp for all the hikes! The skyline 1 trail is ab absolute jaw-dropper - please leave it as clean as it is now! Visited in Oct18
