Description
This trail requires a bit of work to get to the top. Once you arrive on top you have beautiful views of the Pyramid mountains with tons of biodiversity, there are heaps of wild flowers! You may also want to bring a bathing suit with you as well, or just go for a skinny dip like I did. ;) It is about 22k return trip, I would call this a moderate hike. Give yourself a full day for this one.

There is a spot to camp over night up by the lake the trail goes by if you want. There is an outdoor toilet near the site (check out the pic in the gallery. This trail runs into the McCabe trail. It is possible to do a loop if you follow McCabe to the Silver King Trail and back to the road that you park on for Lyon Creek. Great spot! Happy Travels!!
