In the beginning of july you'll see many sockeye Salmon trying to get back to their birthplace. Amazing. August until September then comes the Chinook Salmon.

Great viewing area, has a man made ladder next to the waterfall. If you walk past the screens monitoring the salmon going through the run, you will come to a lookout of the falls where you can watch some salmon jumping up river. If you keep walking next to the river another 50m or so there is an area where many salmon rest before climbing.
