We drive right past this spot, but ended up staying a little down Escuminac Point Road, on the town's large pier. It's located just behind a large fish market, and very visible from the road. Lots of level space, very little traffic on Saturday evening and night. No signs about camping and no one bothered us though we were perfectly visible in our RoadTrek. The drive out here was kind of long and not very scenic, however, so I probably wouldn't do it again.
