Spent one night in this parking area and would have been happy to stay another if we were staying in the area. Large parking area (2 large areas, really) in a municipal park on an old wharf area/spit of land in the North Sydney harbor. Great view of the Newfoundland Ferries at dock and occasionally coming and going. Beautifully lit up after dark. We were joined by 6 or 7 other camper vans for the night. There were a couple of truckers parked in the parking lot that is closer to the land. Clearly overnight camping is permitted.
