Cabot Trail, Wreck Cove, Nova Scotia

Description

Off the Cabot Trail you will find a spot with three parking areas. The first is a large gravel parking lot next to the road. This will fit multiple large rigs. You know you are in the right spot as you will see a wire link fence (don't block it) to the north. You will see a gravel road. Head along the gravel road and you will find two parking spots for small vans which are on the top of the hill. Continue on the road, which heads down towards the beach, to a third grassy spot that is quite large. Would take many vans and is tent friendly. The road continues but no longer is beach accessible due to storms. You can walk along the beach. Each spot gets further from the main road for both privacy and sound. The gravel road is fine for a van. Would not suggest a big rig. Walk the road first if unsure. This is a lovely spot with a great view and the sound of the water.

Nice little spot. No facilities so would be great for someone with an RV or low maintenance tenting. Rocky beautiful beach.

It was not too complicated to get our C19 RV down the path. A little noisy from the road in the morning, but we slept very well.

This is a lovely spot for tenting, Moto access or small trailers at the top. The road down to the secondary access has a large dip which could make it hard to access for anything large. The fire pit remains! For car campers, there's a little road down to access the beach and park right on / next to the beach. It's beautiful.
