Description
Conveniently located off of the Trans-Canada Highway, Aaron Provincial Park houses Thunder Lake, which is a remnant of the ancient glaciers that covered Ontario tens of thousands of years ago. It also features two sandy beaches, making Aaron ideal for water-based activities, such as swimming, boating and fishing.
The park's campground offers almost 100 campsites, one-third of which have electricity, and can accommodate equipment ranging from tents only to large trailers. There are also amenities including water taps, comfort stations and laundry facilities close by.

Very nice campground that is well maintained and very clean. Washrooms and showers are the cleanest i have seen in a while. Saskatchewan Provençal Parks could take a lesson. Nice beach perfect for small children, water level is only up to my waist. It is very close to the highway so there is a lot of road noise. Only stayed 2 nights so it wasn't a major problem.
