Black River Wilderness Park has over 180 acres of wilderness, 100+ campsites, 5 private cabins with 15a/30a power. Gorgeous views and sounds of the river! Black River Wilderness Park is Owned and Operated by the Chippewas of Rama First nation. The camp ground is located just 90 minutes North of Toronto, 20 minutes from Casino Rama and 10 minutes South of Washago, Ont. We offer basic tent camping, 15 and 30 amp hydro and water sites along with cabins, heated yurts and rustic tipis located one the islands within the park. The RV Camp Site comes with 30 amps of electricity and a water hookup. All sites offer a beautiful setting with the Black River wandering through areas of the park. Enjoy the setting of an island campsite in the midst of the beautiful Black River, which flows through this park. Regularly maintained showers and washrooms located on premises. Camping Season starts in May and runs through to the end of Thanksgiving weekend. Pet friendly. Bring your furry family members along to enjoy your camping adventures. Please be advised that there is absolutely no outside firewood allowed in the park. Firewood is available for sale on site.

This is a really nice park very small and quiet The river is a fun place to cool off and float down great for kayaking also. One of our favourites
