Cheap parking lot with plenty of room, right next to park and downtown Barrie. Very few vehicles stayed overnight, but parking ticket will cover you until 9am.

The day I arrived I got given an already paid parking ticket as this person was leaving. They'd paid $2 and ticket lasted until 9am the next day and had no license plate required. Stayed overnight, had no problems, just displayed ticket. Perfect location for downtown pubs/restaurants (The Flying Monkeys a must). Apparently it can get a bit rowdy around that area in the evenings with people shouting on the streets, but I had no problems.
