Silver Lake has over 100 treed campsites; some sites have electrical service and one is barrier-free. Large trailers can be accommodated in the Wesley Campground. A barrier-free comfort station with showers and drinking water are among the amenities provided for your convenience.
Most campsites have vehicle access. A few sites do not have vehicle access however a designated parking area is just a short walk away.

Provincial park. One shower and toilet block in park. Dump point with water to clean off available on site. 100 secluded sites in clusters. Beach bathing for children and lake swimming for grown ups. Campsites have picnic tables and campfire areas

Pretty nice park all in all. You are always going to be pretty close to some facilities and drinkable water, so that's a great plus and makes it good for kids. The sites are pretty close together and don't have a lot of foliage to separate each other with, so you will find that you really don't have any privacy. Using your car as a bit of a barrier and facing your tent opposite of the road will provide additional privacy. Sound travels very easily though here, so don't expect "peace and quiet" per se since there are playgrounds and a beach nearby. The check-in store offers great necessities like firewood and kindling, worms, after bite cream, mosquito repellants, chocolate bars and candy, and souvenirs like towels, mugs, and colouring books.
