Close to Ottawa and Kemptville which is a plus lots of sites east side has the majority of the power sites west side limited power sites... Site 200 and 201 was cottage rental. Quiet park at night for the most part with some gathering at night at the beech or dock area for some night fishing and socializing. Very busy at the water very shallow water swim areas good for kids mostly.. Rest of the water is very very weedy frankly most of the Rideau river in tad area is very weedy so while they have a boat launch new warned to get to the boat lane to avoid the weeds. Staff friendly washroom was well kept in our area we stayed in east side. No showers right now Covid rules... There is only 1 dump station and 1 water fill station in an odd spot the roads aren't very well mapped to the sites.

Big campground, close to the river. Nice area for activities. Private site. Friendly staff. However it is far to expensive. Very few facilities which are disgusting (dirty and smelly).
