It's free but technically you have to pay to enter the park area.. also very inconvenient that you cannot drive all the way down to the camping area itself. You have to walk about 10 minutes with your stuff all the way down to the camping area. Doable if you're prepared for that, but good to know that you won't be camped next to your car. Mosquitos we're also unbearable at this time of the year. Wish they didn't add the swing set and stuff too as it takes away from the natural beauty of this spot.
