Description
Clermonts Montagne de la Croix is an exceptional lookout and interpretation site located between the Saint Lawrence River and the backcountry. Its belvederes provide a sweeping view of the town of Clermont, the La Malbaie River Valley, the vast Charlevoix backcountry and, on a clear day, the Saint Lawrence River and the South Shore.
There is a gravel parking area and a grassy field on a slight incline with picnic tables and rubbish bins.

It's a big area and very calm! I was hesitating at first as some free camps are wrong but this one was very nice!

Quiet pretty spot, with a very unique added bonus. There are garbage cans, but I noticed garbage on the ground :( Please be respectful or these free spots won't be available anymore
