parking lot right at the bridge which costs 14 $ a day. BUT it was also the worst spot we stayed on our whole one month trip.1. There are a few confusing signs in french about parking limitations we couldn't really figure out.2. The neighborhood isn't the greatest, especially in the evening.3. Hence a police car on call parked next to us. (2)

A lady at the tourist information told us about this parking lot on which we could park for free to visit Ottawa city and even stay the night (48h parking limit). A few RVs and a truck were already there even in late October which we didn't see a lot. It is a 20 minute walk to the bridge, half an hour to the city and a free alternative to the (1)

4. Bus drivers apparently use this parking lot as a rest stop and leave the motor running even late in the evening, which is very noisy because of the close proximity. 5. Also very noisy because of the main road nearby. 6. People yelling at night. (3)
