Open : Friday, May 24, 2019 Closure : Monday, September 8, 2019 Right on the shore of the St. Jean Lake. Come and enjoy the site of the the majestic Saint-Jean Lake! This site includes a beautiful beach of 2000 feet of fine sand, 164 camping sites with a picnic area, facilities and a playground. The Blanchet Beach campsite has a computerized booking system and has 164 locations : 82 with running water, sewer and electricity 30 amp 32 with running water, sewer and electricity 50 amp 31 with running water and electricity 15 amp 19 without service and reserved for wild camping Each location is well defined. On each, the camper finds a picnic table and a fireplace or a fire pit. On the plateau, where we find the majority of seasonal campers and everyone enjoys all the space necessary for the practice of daily activities. The sites, of appreciable size, provide an intimacy considered very satisfactory in the camping industry. In the wooded section, called 'Cedarwood', because of the abundance of cedars, we find the sites with two services and those without service. Each land is separated from each other by a forest strip. Three sanitary blocks at the disposal of the passing customers. An accredited beach lifeguard supervises bathers between June 24th and August 15th. A night watchman ensures that any camper can leave the field in case of emergency. The latter is housed in a chalet erected near the campsite's reception station. During the high season, every Sunday, a mass is celebrated in the chapel, witness of the founders and builders of the beach camping, the Redemptorist Fathers of Desbiens.
