Description
Dominating one of the most beautiful bays in the world, Mont Saint-Joseph enjoys a unique geographical position; with its 555 meters of elevation and only 5 km from the coast, it offers an accessible place for the practice of outdoor activities. In a few minutes, you will go from a stroll on the beach to a stroll in the clouds.
You can reach the summit via a motorable road, rue de la Montagne, in the comfort of your car! For those who want to give themselves a bit of a challenge, it is possible to park before the summit and continue the climb via the Cap Ferré trail for a distance of approximately 1.8 km.
The summit of Mont Saint-Joseph houses a chapel built by the community of Carleton in 1935. Breton-style, this place of prayer contains a magnificent mosaic which symbolizes the royalty of Mary. The floor of the chapel's nave is of marble and the walls of unpolished travertine. Take advantage of your visit to the summit to gather and recharge your batteries in this legendary place.
Get a daily pass from the summit gatehouse. For mountain biking, the daily or annual pass is compulsory. Access to the hiking trails is free.
No camping or overnight parking.

Great view but why should we pay that much to enjoy a natural site ?
