Description
Old unmaintained campground just outside of Burwash Landing behind a residential area, down a gravel road. Big sites each with a picnic table and fire pit. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
Be bear aware.
Update 2023 fire pits have been removed except from pavilion

This is a campground near a residential area so there is decent phone service, including internet. The campground itself has a large open area with a large undercover communal picnic area and nearby fire pits. The sites themselves are numbered and have new picnic tables with a mostly level gravel surface. There is a couple drivable trails leading to the nearby lake. There is no litter barrels but there is numerous pit toilets which seem to be freshly painted. The site was deserted so seemed a little creepy but was fine.

Looked like a nice place, the grizzly mighthave thought the same. I left he stayed. Be bear aware !!!
